Somatic awareness is woven throughout my teaching, inviting us to move beyond simply performing a shape and into a deeper relationship with how movement is felt from within. I encourage students to slow down, listen to sensation, notice the breath, feel the support of the ground and explore the relationship between effort, ease and gravity. Through curiosity and mindful attention, movement becomes an opportunity to develop greater body awareness, sensitivity and choice. For me, embodied yoga is not about finding one “correct” way to move, but about learning to listen, respond and discover what is true for your own body in each moment.
